Knighton’s First Match of the Term

The first netball games of the season kicked off on a somewhat rainy afternoon against local rivals Hanford. The 1^st and 2^nd teams were at home whilst the 3^rd and 4^th teams went away. It was a tough start for our girls, especially as Hanford had already played one match, but the girls battled well and produced some good netball. The players of the match were as follows:

1^st team: Madeline and Ellie

2^nd team: Jan and Ines

3^rd team: Giulia and Tilly

4^th team: Antia

Many thanks must go to the ‘Marvellous Mum’s’  netball club who kindly donated money which was used to buy netball dresses for the 1^st team, and also to Mrs Reader-Smith who volunteered to umpire for us.
