On Friday, Knighton House sent two teams to take part in the Year 6 Mathematics Challenge at Bryanston School. This was our first time attending such an event, so we arrived feeling excited and a little nervous (Mrs Dunkerly included!)
Philippa and Jessica made up one team, with Ellie and Nancy as the other team. The children faced 3 challenges including one very similar in style to the numbers round on Countdown. There was such a buzz as 100 children raced to complete as many questions as possible. The top three teams were presented with an award before we went to enjoy a match tea, or rather a maths tea!
The girls placed a respectable 22nd and 43rd respectively. Well done girls!
