Daisy and Tara came first as a team – gaining a qualification to the finals at Hickstead in May 2020.
Daisy also won this class by being ‘bang on’ an optimum time with a clear round. This is a brilliant thing to try to achieve as the riders need to negotiate 18 different jumps, while remembering the order, controlling the horse to an optimum speed. It isn’t about fastest or slowest winning the class.
With Tara hotly on her heels at 5th place, with just a few time faults

the same team of Kitty, Darcie, Daisy and Tara then came 2nd in this class, giving the girls their second team qualification.
Darcie gained a 2nd in this class and a qualification as an individual rider as well as the team.
Darcie competed as an individual rider and gained her 3rd qualification by coming 4th in the class.
These classes, can have up to 40 riders, over a few hours and with an age range up to the age of 18 years. So the girls at such a young age have done brilliantly qualifying! Looking forward to the trip to Hickstead in May.
